Greenville, SC – October 8th, 2024 – In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, MTC Federal Credit Union is stepping up to support the communities in the Upstate that were severely impacted by the storm. Today, MTC Federal announced a $5,000 donation to local food banks and nonprofits that are working tirelessly to help those in need. In addition, MTC Federal is launching a matching donation initiative, committing to match contributions up to $15,000. This means that those wishing to support recovery efforts can double the impact of their donations.

"Our mission has always been to support the communities we serve, and in times like these, that mission becomes even more important," said Bill Love, President/CEO of MTC Federal. "We understand that for many people, there is a long road ahead. By making this contribution and matching the generosity of others, we are committed to helping those most in need. Every dollar donated will stay right here in the Upstate and as always 100% of the donation will provide relief through local food banks and nonprofits making a difference every day."
